These terms govern your use of MergeDraft, operated by Ilona Lazoryshyna. By using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use MergeDraft.
MergeDraft takes a Word document containing comments and returns it with the suggested edits applied as tracked changes. Edits are generated by AI and may contain mistakes – you are responsible for reviewing every change before relying on it.
You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide a valid email address and be able to form a binding contract to use the service.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. However, because credits are digital content/services supplied immediately, you expressly agree, at the time of purchase, that we begin performance straight away and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been supplied / the purchased credits have been used (§ 356 (4) and (5) German Civil Code, BGB). Until then, you may withdraw by contacting lazoryshynailona@gmail.com.
Subject to your statutory rights above, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used, since they deliver a digital service immediately. Unused credits can be refunded on request. If a purchase failed, you were charged in error, or something went wrong on our side, contact lazoryshynailona@gmail.com and we’ll put it right.

You keep all rights to the documents you upload and the edited files you receive. We claim no ownership over them and use them only to provide the service (see our Privacy Policy).
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. AI-generated edits may be inaccurate; you must review them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms or the service, and we may suspend accounts that violate them. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.
